We are going to include weather and traffic updates in our radio station ‘Radio Fresh’. The reason why we are going to be including this is because of the questionnaire that we did, it gave positive feedback about our radio station to include in are radio station.
We are going to make Jingles and other sound effects that are suitable to include in our radio station. They will often be used when we are moving from one subject to another. Most popular radio station use jingles so we think that it would also be appropiate for our radio station 'radio fresh' to use them.
We are going to play a few different genres of music. The genres that we will be play mostly are Dubstep, RnB, Dance and Indie. For the music we will have different playlists that we will play just like other radio stations use. We will have a most popular playlist and other Dubstep playlists. Just to keep the different genres mixed up. The reason why we have chosen these genres of music is because they were the most popular genres according to the advanced questionnaire that we did. So we thought it was suitable to include these most popular genres in order to increase listeners satisfaction.
For our Radio Station ‘Radio Fresh’ we will be including a online Music podcast that people will be able access via internet through the radio fresh website. The podcast will have Music playlists that have been made by radio fresh. Also anyone will be able to buy and download the radio fresh podcasts on to their iTunes.
We will have weekly entrainment on radio fresh. We will have competitions each week which will involve listeners being able to phone up and take part. Also we will have questions that will involve people having to phone in for the answer and we will give away prizes to the winning caller.
For our radio station 'Radio Fresh' we are going to make a jingle in which we will use quite often throughout the radio station. The jingle that we going to use will say 'Radio Fresh' and it will be along to a tune. Also we may use a sound effect after the 'Radio Fresh' voice to end the jingle. The Good effect of having a jingle is that it builds up a repretation for the radio station and it is also a way of the radio station to becoming recognised from it. We will design it so it has a tune that will get stuck in your head. The jingle will be played after songs, between transitions of one subject to another and also before the interviewer talks it will often be played.
